Letter: Herrera Beutler is a champion for constituents

While I have been happy with Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler’s, R-Camas, representation, I was extremely proud to see her stand up and call for an end to the 16-day government shutdown.

The American people are not happy with Obamacare if the polls are believable and thank God our constitutional system does not allow for changes to the law to happen easily. This is especially true when we have a split Congress. Herrera Beutler understands this well and represents all of Southwest Washington. That is why she has worked to make sure the most harmful parts of Obamacare do not crush her constituents. She found out that health care exchanges in Clark County only had one provider, she successfully demanded that more choices be added.

Americans should have choices and Herrera Beutler champions choice.
