D’princess wins Big A feature

NEW YORK (AP) — D’princess beat Heir to Dare by 114 lengths Wednesday in the $74,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct,

After prevailing in the speed duel with fourth-place finisher My Place Anytime, D’princess went on to her seventh win in 22 starts. The 4-year-old trained by Rudy Rodriguez ran six furlongs in 1:11.12.

Joel Rosario, who had three wins on the day, was aboard as the 3-1 second choice paid $8, $4.20 and $2.80. Heir to Dare returned $5.60 and $3 while Trail Walker, the 2-1 favorite, paid $2.60 to show.
