A rollover crash on state Highway 14 near Cape Horn injured a Washougal resident late Friday night, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Steven and Chantell Heupel were traveling west on Highway 14 when the 2000 Subaru Legacy they were in rolled and came to rest on its top. Steven Heupel, who was driving, lost control, according to police.

Chantell Heupel, 20, treated for injuries at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and released. Steven Heupel, 22, was not injured. Both were wearing seat belts, police said.

Police said the car was traveling too fast for the conditions, but that drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the crash.

The incident was cleared from the highway just after 1 a.m. Saturday, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
