SEATTLE (AP) — Nigel Williams-Goss scored 22 points and sparked a key run to lead the University of Washington in a 92-80 comeback win against Eastern Washington University.

Eastern Washington jumped out to an early double-digit lead, controlled the first half and led for most of the game, but Washington (2-1) overpowered the Eagles in the second half.

Tyler Harvey scored a career-high 28 points for Eastern Washington (1-1), 20 in the first half. Harvey shot 7 for 13 on 3-pointers and 10 of 22 from the field.

Perris Blackwell scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and C.J. Wilcox added 15 points and eight boards for Washington, which was coming off Thursday’s 86-72 loss at home to UC Irvine.

EWU led 55-43 with 1712 minutes left in the game. It would prove to be their largest lead and Washington steadily chipped away — primarily at the free throw line.
