Referral forms for students interested in Vancouver Public Schools’ Challenge program for highly capable students are due Dec. 2 in the district’s Challenge office. The program is for students in grades 1-5 who have demonstrated significantly advanced performance levels.
Qualified students attend one of five Challenge magnet school sites where they receive a rigorous curriculum.
Any parent, educator or community member may refer students currently in grades K-4 for the program. Referral forms and details are available in all district elementary school offices or at vansd.org. For details, call the Challenge office, 360-313-1360.
