A sheriff’s deputy’s vehicle collided with a passenger vehicle Tuesday night in the Orchards area.

The crash was reported at 11:34 p.m. at the intersection of Northeast 137th Avenue and Northeast Padden Parkway. At the time, an on-duty Clark County sheriff’s deputy, whose name was not released, was responding to a call with emergency lights activated; the type of call was not released by the sheriff’s office.

The southbound patrol vehicle struck a passenger vehicle upon entering Padden Parkway, said Sgt. Fred Neiman. He did not specify the direction of travel for the passenger vehicle. The driver and sole occupant of the passenger vehicle, whose name was not released, was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
