BALTIMORE (AP) — Stevie Taylor converted a three-point play with three seconds on the clock and Maurice Ndour scored five of his team-high 13 points in the final minutes as Ohio edged Morgan State 65-62 on Wednesday night.

Morgan State was striving for its first win as Anthony Hubbard grabbed a rebound and scored on a fast break to tie the game at 62-62 with 38 seconds left. Justin Black and Ian Chiles led Morgan State (0-4) with 17 points apiece, a season-high for Chiles.

The final 4:30 saw three ties and three lead changes. Ohio didn’t grab the lead for good until a 3-pointer by Ndour at 3:09. Ndour scored seven of his 13 points in the second half and most of those late — he followed the 3 with a jumper at 1:59 to break a 60-60 tie before fouling out.

Morgan State made just 14 of 30 free throws.
