Eastern Kentucky beats Brescia 95-56

RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) — Glenn Cosey scored a game-high 20 points as Eastern Kentucky cruised to a 95-56 win over Brescia on Friday night.

Cosey was 5 of 9 from the floor and sank 9 of 10 from the line. Orlando Williams came in from the bench to score 15 points and starter Marcus Lewis had 14 points. Corey Walden led the Colonels (6-1) with seven rebounds. Eastern Kentucky hit 50 percent from the field and 74.5 percent from the line overall.

The Colonels had no trouble dominating the Bearcats from the opening tipoff and had a 42-29 lead going into the break. The Colonels led by as many as 40 points midway through the second period.

The Bearcats sank just 33 percent from the field. Team leader Jordan Cooper-Livers scored 18 points, going 8 of 10 from the free throw line.
