STORRS, Conn. (AP) — Stefanie Dolson followed up her first triple-double with a 23-point, 10-rebound performance on Friday as top-ranked Connecticut routed Boston University 96-38 in the opening round of the Hall of Fame Challenge tournament.

The Huskies, who dressed just seven scholarship players because of injury, had four players in double figures. They used a 34-3 run in the first half to take control of a game that was tied after the first 512 minutes.

Breanna Stewart led the Huskies with 25 points and added seven rebounds and six assists. Freshman Saniya Chong had 15 points, hitting four of her six shots from 3-point range. Kiah Stokes chipped in 10 points.

Clodagh Scannell topped Boston University (1-4) with nine points.

The tournament continues Saturday in Storrs, and Sunday in Hartford. Connecticut faces Monmouth on Saturday — the Hawks are 0-4 after losing the early game Friday to St. Bonaventure.
