The City of Vancouver is offering housing rehabilitation loans of up to $25,000 to qualified low-income homeowners for basic repairs and upgrades.

The loans carry a 3 percent interest rate and a deferred payment until the home is refinanced, sold or no longer occupied by the owner. Funding is provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Qualifying homeowners must live within the Vancouver city limits and meet the income and asset limits.

The program’s maximum income limits range from $38,850 for single person households up to $59,950 for five person households.
