CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina junior tight end Eric Ebron says he’ll enter the NFL draft after the season.

Ebron has 50 catches for 774 yards and three touchdowns for the Tar Heels (6-5, 4-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) heading into Saturday’s home finale against No. 24 Duke.

Ebron said Monday the move would benefit his family and he didn’t want to linger on deciding after the regular season.

The Tar Heels have won five straight since a 1-5 start to become bowl eligible. The Blue Devils (9-2, 5-2) can clinch the league’s Coastal Division championship and a trip to the ACC title game by winning at UNC’s Kenan Stadium on Saturday.
