ATHENS, Ohio (AP) — Maurice Ndour scored 23 points and grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds to help Ohio rally from an early deficit and beat Mercer 76-67 on Tuesday night.

Three other Ohio players were also in double digits — Jon Smith scored 16 points, Nick Kellogg scored 12 and T.J. Hall finished with 11.

Ndour hit a jumper after the tipoff to get Ohio on the board first. But the Bobcats (5-1) soon found themselves trailing by as many as eight before battling back to lead by nine at the half and by as many as 20 in the second period. Ndour and Kellogg each contributed a pair of 3-pointers and the Bobcats sank 84.4 percent from the line.

Langston Hall was high scorer for the Bears (4-3) with 24 points, three rebounds and three assists.
