The American Red Cross is giving free pies to people who donate blood during its annual Thanksgiving Day blood drive.
In celebration of the beginning of the giving season, the Red Cross will also hand out free T-shirts to donors from Wednesday through Sunday.
On Thanksgiving Day, the Clark County Red Cross will open the doors to its donor center, 5109 N.E. 82nd Ave., from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donors will get a pumpkin pie, while supplies last.
