Letter: Threats are step closer to anarchy

The Columbian

Regarding the recent Clark County commissioners’ meeting, what is going on? Has everyone gone crazy? Lawsuit intimidation? Threats of “We’re going to fillet you open like a carp,” as reported in the Nov. 20 story “Benton critic gets support”? Photos being taken of citizens testifying? This is too much and needs to stop now. This is not government; it is anarchy. If threats are ever made again at a commissioners meeting on any commissioner or a testifying citizen, the offender needs to arrested. Acting like children does not dignify the political process in America. Intimidation of any kind does not belong in our political process.
