DETROIT (AP) — Detroit Lions cornerback Chris Houston is inactive against the Green Bay Packers because of a foot injury.

Houston was listed as doubtful for Thursday’s game. He was hurt during Sunday’s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Lions rookie Darius Slay, a second-round pick, is making his third start and first since Week 2 in place of Houston.

Green Bay cornerback Sam Shields and defensive tackle Johnny Jolly are both back in the starting lineup after missing the previous game with injuries.

The Packers officially ruled quarterback Aaron Rodgers out Wednesday and said Matt Flynn would start. Rodgers is missing his fourth straight game since fracturing his left collarbone Nov. 4 against Chicago.
