NEW YORK (AP) — Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Dylan Brock has been suspended 50 games for violating baseball’s minor league drug program.
The commissioner’s office announced Wednesday that Brock tested positive for Clomiphene, a drug that is used to induce ovulation in women and is considered a performance-enhancing drug.
A 34th round pick in the June draft, Brock is currently on the roster of the rookie-level Arizona League Brewers. His suspension will take affect at the start of the 2014 season.
