The Fairgrounds Neighborhood Association has invited 38 freeholder candidates from District 1 to attend its meeting at 7 p.m. Oct. 10 at the Community of Christ Church, 400 N.E. 179th St.
The 38 freeholders invited are the individuals who submitted candidate statements for the county voters pamphlet.
The event will begin with a brief description of the freeholder election and charter county process, and the remaining time will be equally divided among the freeholder candidates to speak and answer questions.
