1A Trico football: La Center 48, White Salmon 16

Conner Fulton rushed for 164 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Wyatt Agerre threw three scoring passes as the Wildcats took control.

La Center led 27-3 at halftime, but miscues by the Bruins prevented a game competitive on the field from being close on the scoreboard.

Aguirre had all three of his touchdown passes in the first quarter, finishing 6 of 12 for 74 yards. Jacob Livingston and Connor Wonderly also had rushing scores in the second half as the Wildcats began to rely on a ground attack to maintain control. La Center had 419 rushing yards as a team.

White Salmon had most of its 96 passing yards in the first half, and finished with 231 on the ground.
