The Vancouver Clinic and PeaceHealth have formed a new independent practice association, called the Columbia Integrated Network, which will operate as a joint venture.

The Columbia Integrated Network includes all local Vancouver Clinic and PeaceHealth providers and is open to other providers who share the new organization’s shared vision and values, according to a statement released Monday by the two health care organizations.

PeaceHealth selectively engages in joint ventures with medical groups in each of its communities through its subsidiary, HealthVentures. Columbia Integrated Network will be HealthVentures’ sixth joint venture, and its second in southwestern Washington.

Karen Lee is the interim executive director for Columbia Integrated Network. Columbia United Providers, an organization under majority ownership of PeaceHealth and the Vancouver Clinic, will handle administration. A six-member physician board chaired by Dr. Sharon Crowell, board chair for The Vancouver Clinic, governs the new organization.
