4A GSHL football: Camas 62, Evergreen 15

The Camas defense scored five touchdowns as the Papermakers rolled to a 62-15 victory over Evergreen in a Class 4A Greater St. Helens League game at McKenzie Stadium.

Michael DiGenova scored three touchdowns on fumble recovery returns of 1 yard, 39 yards and a recovery in the end zone as Camas (6-0, 2-0 4A GSHL) led 41-3 at halftime.

Zach Eagle had a 38 yard interception return for a touchdown, and Trevor Wochnick returned a fumble 3 yards for a touchdown.

Eagle also had a 61-yard touchdown reception from Reilly Hennessey. Nate Beasley rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown and had 19-yard TD reception.

Justin Straup had a solid game for the Plainsmen (3-3, 0-2), rushing for 149 yards and two touchdowns.
