FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Brock Jensen tossed three touchdown passes and Zach Vraa tallied 179 yards receiving as North Dakota State topped Missouri State 41-26 on Saturday for its 15th straight win, the second-longest streak in Division I.
NDSU (6-0, 3-0 Missouri Valley) trailed late in the second quarter but a 2-yard touchdown run by Sam Ojuri and a 36-yard score from Jensen to Vraa in the final minute put NDSU up 24-13 at halftime.
Missouri State (1-6, 1-2) cut the score to 24-20 early in the third with a 19-yard interception return for a touchdown by Caleb Schaffitzel. Jensen responded with touchdown passes on NDSU’s following two possessions — a 23-yarder to Vraa and a 33-yarder to Kevin Vaadeland — to put the Bison up 38-20 in the third. Jensen threw for a career-high 313 yards.
