Nominees for high school football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Oct. 11.

Voting will conclude at 8 p.m. Tuesday with results published in Wednesday's Columbian.

NATE ARRIOLA, SKYVIEW: Arriola rushed for 247 yards on 33 carries and scored two touchdowns in the Storm's win over Heritage.

JONATHAN BRANSON, COLUMBIA RIVER: Branson rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns and passed for 158 yards and another touchdown in the Chieftains' win over Kelso.

MICHAEL DIGENOVA, CAMAS: DiGenova recovered three fumbles, forcing one of them, and return them for touchdowns in the Papermakers' win over Evergreen.

RONNIE EVENDEN, PRAIRIE: Evenden rushed for 254 yards on 25 carries and two touchdowns and caught two passes for 30 yards.

BOBBY JACOBS, WASHOUGAL: Jacobs rushed for 230 yards on 25 carries and scored four touchdowns in the Panthers' win over Ridgefield.
