ORCHARD PARK N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Bills have free agent Matt Flynn in for a tryout in their latest attempt to shore up an injury-depleted quarterback position.
Flynn spent Monday morning in the team’s fieldhouse working out in front of team officials.
Buffalo (2-4) could be in need of another quarterback after interim starter Thad Lewis sprained his right ankle in a 27-24 overtime loss to Cincinnati on Sunday. Lewis’ status is uncertain for Buffalo’s game at Miami (3-2) on Sunday.
Lewis was promoted off the practice squad last week to fill in for injured rookie EJ Manuel.
