Police are searching for a man suspected of assaulting, robbing and kidnapping three people early Tuesday morning in Vancouver’s Central Park neighborhood.

Nicholas M. Loredo, 34, is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Vancouver police were called to the 1200 block of V Street to take the report of the crimes allegedly committed against two adults and a 17-year-old, who all know Loredo. The victims’ names were not released, but police say they are all safe and acquired minor injuries from the incident.

Loredo is described as a white male; 5 feet, 11 inches tall; and 178 pounds; with brown eyes, a goatee and hair styled into a red mohawk. He was last seen driving a green 2003 Ford Ranger with a rear Oregon plate ZKR 453.

Anyone who sees Loredo or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.

The Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit is continuing its investigation into the allegations.

Loredo has a criminal history in Clark County. His past convictions, according to court documents, include second-degree robbery, hit and run, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine and forgery.
