Ballots for the Nov. 5 general election are in the mail, according to the Clark County Elections Department, and if registered voters haven’t received their ballots by Oct. 25, they should request a replacement.

To request a replacement ballot, call the election officials at 360-397-2345; email them at elections@clark.wa.gov; write to them at Elections Department, PO Box 8815, Vancouver, 98666; or visit their offices at 1408 Franklin St. in Vancouver.

Included on the Nov. 5 ballot are local government seats, including city council, school board and mayoral positions. Several county and state advisory measures, and county freeholder candidates also are on the ballot.

Returning ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 5, or they won’t be counted. Elections officials will begin tabulating election results at 6 p.m. Election Day, and the first round of preliminary results will be released after 8 p.m. Results will be available online at http://clarkvotes.org, or at http://clarkvotesmobile.org if accessing information from a mobile device.
