NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Titans quarterback Jake Locker practiced Wednesday for the first time since injuring his knee and hip less than three weeks ago, but Tennessee coach Mike Munchak doesn’t expect him to play Sunday against San Francisco.

Wearing a brace on his right knee, Locker participated in individual and seven-on-seven drills. Locker took a couple of snaps in full team drills. He was walking with a noticeable limp in between passes to tight ends near the conclusion of practice.

Munchak said Wednesday, “We’re not saying (Locker’s) out, but we’re going forward like Ryan (Fitzpatrick) is starting.”

Munchak says Locker’s hip has healed more quickly than his knee. Locker sprained his hip and the medial collateral ligament in his right knee Sept. 29 in a 38-13 victory over the New York Jets.
