Battle Ground school district-ESD ink deal for communication services

Battle Ground Public Schools has contracted with Educational Service District 112 for $44,200 to provide a communication coordinator to work through June 30, 2014. The part-time position will average about 26 hours per week. The contract includes additional graphic design and broader communication assistance.

Sean Chavez began working in the district office last week on projects including newsletters, media outreach and the district website. An employee of ESD 112, Chavez has worked for ESD 112 for the past year on a substance abuse prevention coalition, Prevent Together: Battle Ground Prevention Alliance.
