TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Coming off a pair of losses to top-5 teams, No. 20 Washington faces another difficult test on the road against Arizona State on Saturday.

The Huskies have had losing streaks of at least three games in each of coach Steve Sarkisian’s first four seasons and are hoping to avoid another after losses to Oregon and Stanford.

Sarkisian said this year’s team seems to be mentally tougher, but they will face a tough challenge against Arizona State.

The Sun Devils have the same overall record at 4-2, but are 2-1 in conference while the Huskies are 1-2. Arizona State also has won seven straight games over Washington, dating to 2001.
