EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Argentina’s soccer team will play its third exhibition game in 212 years at MetLife Stadium.
The Argentines will meet Ecuador on Nov. 15, four days before playing Bosnia-Herzegovina at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. All three nations have qualified for next year’s World Cup.
Argentina said Friday its roster will include Lionel Messi. The four-time FIFA player of the year is to play for Barcelona this weekend for the first time since injuring a hamstring Sept. 28.
Argentina beat the United States at MetLife in March 2011 and defeated Brazil there in June 2012.
