Two people were injured early Saturday when a pickup overturned on state Highway 14 in Vancouver, the Washington State Patrol reported.

The crash occurred at 3:02 a.m. when a 1991 Chevrolet Silverado driven west by a 17-year-old Battle Ground boy drifted into a concrete center divider near Southeast 164th Avenue and overturned, a WSP bulletin said.

A passenger in the pickup, Kevin S. Casto, 23, of Vancouver, was injured and taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, the WSP said. His condition was not immediately available.

The teen, whose name was not released, was injured but not transported to a hospital, the WSP said. A second passenger in the pickup, a 23-year-old Washougal man, was not injured.

The teen was cited for a minor driving under the influence of intoxicants, the WSP said.
