CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Jarod Neal threw a pair of touchdown passes to Jeremy Butler to lead Tennessee-Martin to a 38-14 Ohio Valley Conference victory over winless Austin Peay Saturday.

The Neal-to-Butler connection accounted for much of the offense for the Skyhawks (5-3, 3-2 OVC). Neal was 21 of 33 for 293 yards, and Butler had 11 catches for 171 yards.

Abou Toure raced 31 yards for a first-quarter touchdown to get Tennessee-Martin on the board with their first possession. DJ McNeil dashed in from the 9 on the second. The pair accounted for the majority of the Skyhawks’ 189 rushing yards.

Timarious Mitchell fired a pair of touchdown passes to Darryl Clark for Austin Peay (0-8, 0-4 OVC) while Omar Williams ran for 122 yards on 25 carries.

Despite giving up two touchdowns through the air, the Tennessee-Martin defense held the Governors to just 114 yards passing on 31 attempts.
