The News Tribune reported that shotgun pellets hit several homes Thursday night, but no one was hurt.

Pierce County Sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said the woman has mental health issues and thinks people trespass on her property at night. In this case, he said, she saw some lights in the fog and thought someone was on her property.

The woman surrendered and was taken into custody for investigation of aggravated assault.
