KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Pro Bowl running back Jamaal Charles has left the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Cleveland Browns in the third quarter with what the team called a knee injury.

It wasn’t clear which knee Charles hurt or when it occurred. He was questionable to return.

Charles had been having another nice game, carrying 11 times for 54 yards, and hauling in three catches for 35 yards in helping Kansas City to a 20-10 halftime lead.

Charles entered the game with at least 100 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown in his first seven games this season. The only other player to accomplish that feat was O.J. Simpson in 1975.
