Police searched but were unable to find a suspect who allegedly robbed the iQ Credit Union in the VanMall Neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect reportedly entered the bank and passed a note to an employee, leaving on foot with some cash, according to Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp. No weapon was seen or implied, she said.

The robbery was reported at the credit union, 7017 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive, at 1:35 p.m. Officers and a police dog searched the area but did not find the suspect, described as a man in his early 20s, wearing a black and red jacket, Kapp said.
