The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra has received a $20,000 matching grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The grant will help expand the orchestra's audience through creative programming. It's the first time the VSO has received the award.

The orchestra's next performances will be 3 p.m. Saturday and 7 p.m. Sunday at the Skyview Concert Hall, 1300 N.W. 139th St., in Vancouver. Salvador Brotons will lead the group and guest Joe Powers, an international harmonica virtuoso.
