BUIES CREEK, N.C. (AP) — Campbell raced through Virginia-Wise for a school record 659 yards total offense in a 56-21 non-conference rout of Virginia-Wise.

Campbell’s Brian Hudson threw for 90 yards and two touchdowns while adding 101 yards on the ground, pacing a balanced rushing attack that set a school record with 521 yards on the ground.

Dakota Wolf, DeShawn Jones, Brian Hudson and Keith Goss all ended the first half with at least 50 yards on the ground as the Camels (1-1) jumped out to a 40-14 half time lead. Wolf, Goss and Dalton Dillon all rushed for first half scores.

Five of Campbell’s six first-half scoring drives went longer than 70 yards.
