CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Hawaii senior linebacker Brenden Daley was taken by ambulance from Saturday’s game against Oregon State.

The nature of Daley’s injury was not immediately known. He was hurt when he collided with a Beavers player early in the first quarter after Oregon State went up 7-0.

Daley raised his hands as he was being loaded in the ambulance and he pointed at Hawaii receiver Chris Gant.

In the opener against USC, Daley led Hawaii with 10 tackles, including four for loss, a sack and a forced fumble. Hawaii lost to the Trojans 30-13.
