Letter: Government pay rarely passed up

The Sen. Don Benton fiasco merely provides further evidence (as though anyone needed further evidence) that once you begin to feed from the public trough, you do not want to stop. Any job is acceptable if it comes with a government paycheck. Any government job is better than working for a living.

Benton is living proof.
