FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Brock Jensen threw for two touchdowns and rushed for one to lead North Dakota State to a 56-10 win over Ferris State on Saturday.

North Dakota State (2-0) scored on its first three possessions, capped by Jensen’s 43-yard pass to Zach Vraa. His 4-yard pass to Andrew Grothmann made it 35-0 before the Bulldogs (0-1) got on the board.

It was the 15th-straight home-opening win for the two-time defending FCS champions, who opened the season by upsetting Kansas State.

Jensen was 19 of 23 for 259 yards with completions to nine different receivers. Ryan Smith’s six receptions for 56 yards and Vraa’s four catches for 100 yards led the Bison.

Jason Vander Laan was 7 of 14 for 56 yards, including a 19-yard touchdown pass to Dewayne Boston, for Ferris State’s only touchdown. Vander Laan also rushed for 100 yards on 18 carries.
