FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — TCU quarterback Casey Pachall has left the game against Southeastern Louisiana with an apparent injury to his left arm or wrist.

Pachall was hurt at the end of an 8-yard run late in the second quarter Saturday when he used his left arm to brace for a fall as he was being hit by two defenders.

A trainer could be seen checking the area around Pachall’s wrist before he walked to the locker room.

Pachall missed most of the 2012 season after getting arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. He was replaced by Trevone Boykin.

Pachall and Boykin split time in the TCU’s season-opening loss to LSU, but Pachall had taken almost all the snaps before leaving Saturday’s game.

Boykin came in and led a drive to a field goal on the final play of the half to give TCU a 17-14 lead.
