GLASGOW, Scotland (AP) — Maybe soccer isn’t for One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson, after all.

The boy band star was playing in a charity match at the stadium of Scottish champion Celtic when he was knocked to the ground by Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor as he attempted a clearance.

Tomlinson was forced to leave the field, and then vomited on the sideline.

Agbonlahor drew abuse from One Direction fans on Twitter. He says the play was “was one of those things. I’ll apologize to Louis when we meet up.”

Tomlinson recently signed to play a game for the second-tier English club Doncaster.

Sunday’s charity match was to aid a foundation set up by former Bulgaria captain Stiliyan Petrov, who recently retired because of acute leukemia.
