Todd Moothart, 50, of Vancouver remained in critical condition Sunday night with injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash Saturday. His passenger, Carol Ponath, 50 of Battle Ground was listed in satisfactory condition. Both are at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.

Moothart was riding a 2003 Harley-Davidson southbound on Southeast 164th Avenue in Vancouver about 1 p.m. Saturday. He made a left turn onto the Highway 14 onramp, then lost control of the motorcycle and struck the concrete barrier, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The unoccupied motorcycle then struck another 2003 Harley-Davidson driven by Troy Noel, 46, of Vancouver, according to police. Noel was not injured.

Moothart was cited for driving too fast for the conditions.
