Sky edge Mercury on Delle Donne’s buzzer beater

ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) — Elena Delle Donne made a 10-foot jump shot as time expired to give the Chicago Sky a 70-68 victory over the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday night.

Delle Donne’s shot capped a Sky rally from a nine-point, fourth-quarter deficit for their second consecutive victory.

Epiphanny Prince scored 21 points to pace Chicago (23-9). Delle Donne had 18 while Sylvia Fowles added 13 points and 12 rebounds.

The Phoenix (18-14) had a four-game winning streak snapped despite 15 points from Candice Dupree and 12 apiece from DeWanna Bonner and Briana Gilbreath.
