The Oregon and Southwest Washington Blood Program is looking for volunteers to help out at local blood drives and the blood center.

Volunteers are primarily needed to help with donor registration, though other positions are available. Volunteer registrar duties include entering donor information into the computer and providing instructions to the donor.

The Oregon and Southwest Washington Blood Program, a division of the Puget Sound Blood Center, is the sole provider of blood to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and will be the sole provider for the Legacy Health system beginning October 2013.

The donor center is located near the east end of the Westfield Vancouver mall at 9320 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive, Suite 100.

For more information about volunteering, contact volunteer services coordinator Kelley Ferguson at 360-314-8811 or kelleyf@psbc.org.
