Burgerville is inviting Portland International Airport travelers and anyone else to tell it what they want the company’s PDX restaurant to look like, and what they want to eat when heading in or out of town by air.

The Vancouver-based restaurant chain is asking for ideas about the design, menu, packaging and “guest experience” they want at the PDX airport location, which will open this winter. It has launched a new website “YOURBVPDX.com,” where the public can visit to share thoughts.

Burgerville is starting the process with some ideas of its own on the website. Those ideas address the ordering process (different lines to reflect the time constraints of travelers), noise management and menu choices.

“This website is an invitation to you to shape and design the new restaurant,” said Jeff Harvey, Burgerville’s president and CEO. “This new Burgerville at PDX is both a unique opportunity and an enormous responsibility for us to represent the Pacific Northwest region to all those passing through the airport.”
