Letter: Extremism in governing unwelcome

The Columbian

Keep the pressure on Commissioners David Madore and Tom Mielke, and state Sen. Don Benton, R-Vancouver. How these three ever got voted into their positions is almost beyond belief. Surely there are lawyers in the area who could be persuaded to take these three on, either for the good of the community or be paid to do so by funds collected from residents. I would gladly offer money for this purpose.

I notice the five or six conservative community members who go to the weekly meetings have written their pseudo-intellectual rhetoric that they probably glean from “Fox-Views” and “The Blaze.” With all this disinformation being thrown around and the continuing problems left over by the “Pretend President” placed in office by the U.S. Supreme Court in 2000, is it any wonder we are in the condition we find ourselves today?

At least we can rid our area of this Tea Party extremism by recalling Madore, Mielke and Benton. Keep the pressure on. We will be rid of these folks soon.
