LANDOVER, Md. (AP) — Reggie Bush’s banged-up left knee will keep him out for the Detroit Lions against the Washington Redskins.

Bush took a helmet to the knee in the second quarter in last week’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He did not practice Wednesday or Thursday and was limited Friday.

Bush ran for 115 yards on 30 carries in the Lions’ first two games.

Detroit defensive tackle Nick Fairley was active Sunday after missing a game with a shoulder injury.

Washington’s Kai Forbath is inactive for the second straight week with a sore groin in his kicking leg. John Potter will handle the kicking duties.

Redskins tight end Fred Davis is inactive with an ankle injury. Safety Brandon Meriweather is active despite suffering a concussion last against the Green Bay Packers.
