State Sen. Ann Rivers, R-La Center, and state Rep. Liz Pike, R-Camas, will host two town hall meetings on Saturday, Oct. 5, one in Battle Ground and one in Ridgefield.

The first town hall of the day is 10 a.m. to noon at the Clark County Fire & Rescue Station, 911 N. 65th Ave., Ridgefield. The second one is 2 to 4 p.m. at Battle Ground City Hall, 109 S.W. First St.

Rivers and Pike say they want to hear their constituents’ thoughts and concerns before legislators head back to Olympia for another session in January. Pike said possible topics could include education, transportation, the economy and exporting coal from Washington ports.

On Nov. 9, the two legislators will host a third town hall meeting from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the Camas Public Library, 625 N.E. Fourth Ave.
