Mariano Rivera always enters late in the game. His bobblehead doll is going to do the same thing.

The New York Yankees were forced to hand out vouchers for the giveaway honoring the career saves leader to the first 18,000 fans who arrived for Tuesday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays because of a transportation issue.

The promotion comes on the opening night of the Yankees' final three-game home series of the regular season.

The team retired Rivera's number in a 50-minute ceremony Sunday.

The Knicks and Nets may be developing a heated rivalry, but for one weekend their organizations will be united and working together.

The NBA will announce today that the Knicks and Nets will jointly host the 2015 All-Star Weekend, a league source said. During the Nets' first season in Brooklyn, the Knicks and Nets played some intense games. Their rivalry could grow more heated with some of Brooklyn's offseason moves.

The Nets hired one-time Knick Jason Kidd to be their coach. They also acquired noted Knick haters Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce.

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones, who is out with a knee injury, was involved in a brawl on a party bus early Monday morning and was hurt when he was hit over the head by a champagne bottle wielded by a stripper.

Retired linebacker Ray Lewis figures he could have prevented such an incident.
