Letter: Bridge issues cannot be ignored

The Columbian
Published: September 24, 2013, 5:00pm

Jerry Farmer, in Web comments published on the Sept. 14 Columbian Opinion page in response to the Sept. 11 Columbian Web story, “Herrera Beutler says revived CRC plan doesn’t qualify for federal money,” asked “What does it take to get this CRC fiasco off the table?” Good plan. If we just ignore it, then when the Interstate 5 Bridge finally falls into the Columbia River, we can all collectively gasp and pretend we didn’t see it coming.
